Time: Something we don't put enough value in.

This is kind of off topic but: There’s not enough time in a single day.

August Rush buy The Craft buy

Just think if there were 48 hrs in a single day. What would you do with that time? Catch up with friends, watch more TV, enjoy yourself more, put longer hours in at work. That would be great, but those extra hours probably wouldn’t help. Why not? Because most people love wasting time, no matter how much of it they have. Too much time is spent on things that don’t give us our ROI. What your spare time gives you back depends on where it’s invested. Just like money. Robert Kawasaki said in his book, “The difference between the rich and the poor is how they spend their spare time.” And it’s so true, not only with finances but everything else. Body builders spend their free time working out, authors spend their free time writing. And when you really think of it, free time isn’t really free after all.

I’m sure all of us have wished we could freeze time. Maybe because of we cant reach a goal within the given time or because everything’s just moving way too fast. It’s not a mystery where time goes. Time goes where ever you spend it. Blowing it on small things that kill quality and doing it so much that kills quantity AND then wondering “where the time has gone” is where the time goes. In a nutshell, we need to put more value on time.

“Time flies, but you’re the pilot”, as someone once said. There’s thousands of time management books, blogs and articles out there. There’s hundreds of ways to save time. But it all depends on you and what you’re willing to do to reclaim it all.

Don’t get me wrong, just because you’re busy doesn’t mean you’re wasting time. I’m just saying, put more value in the stuff.

An introduction to my new startup(in BETA)

PutFeed is a brand new startup I’ve been working on since Christmas. It’s not ready for the public just yet. You can take a look at it at putfeed.com. You can sign up if you wish but don’t be surprised if there are a few ugly bugs still lurking around.

So what is PutFeed you may be wondering? Well it’s a mini-interaction tool for people, businesses, brands, teams etc to use. I’m kind of in un-charted territory right now and I’m learning as I’m going. There’s quite a few plans for this site. So I’ll keep you updated!

Doesn’t sound like a whole lot, but believe me! Basically I just haven’t been posting lately because I just don’t know where my time is going. It would be that I just don’t have the time. Or it might be time I tossed that excuse out the window and just continued pushing ahead. Time to get back to bad ass blogging and working on projects. I’m putting some REAL content up here on a weekly basis from now on. I’d best be a full out blog writer from now on or not have a blog at all.

So lets see:
