False followers are one time buyers who fall into the snare of buying a product or service that betrays them in the end. Companies that focus on big bursts/one time hits instead of sustainable buyers as David Armano put it. As a consequence of poor or non-existent leadership these types of businesses hold no real value, and completely come crumbling down when one brick is pulled from the wall(in other words, when the jig is up and they cant cover their ass any longer).

Online scams, get-rich-quick schemes, companies with poor customer service, poor quality products etc. are perfect examples of one-hit businesses that require a long line of constant new buyers. They lack the loyalty for long term success because their in the business of manipulation. These endeavorers fail before they even get going.

This type of leadership is visible in politics as well as business. Political icons of the past century such as Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini used illusions and self-image to get into power. Once in power they revealed their true sides and were exposed as tyrants. They came to a bitter end once the Second World War was over. Mussolini was killed and hung by the same people he has oppressed for the decades earlier.

However companies don’t have such a great advantage over consumers. In a planned or authoritarian economy the population may be forced to buy. But real companies can’t flourish from oppressing the same people that benefit them. Nowadays businesses are at the mercy of the buyer. The buyer can ruin a companies reputation or determine its success. Why do large companies spend crazy amounts of money on marketing and positioning? They do it to attract the customer because they know that the better a relationship they have with the customer, the stronger they become as a whole.

Photo Found @ 2nd Generation Leadership

True Followers

People who are excited to be apart of your organization because of the shared sense of common vision and meaning, are true followers. True followers are also leaders. True followers are often fanatics. The fanatics are crazy about being apart of your tribe and so much that they bring in new customers, buyers, team members etc.

As best selling author Seth Godin said it, every company that wants to be successful needs REAL, energized followers who are excited to be part of the “tribe”. Contrary to beliefs of the industrial age, the “blind sheep” or go-fers with no clue of direction are the most counterproductive members of the team. Instead of the highly ineffective approach of “shut up and do what you’re told” there’s a better solution. With the right kind of leadership there’s no such thing as a “blind sheep” or a misguided employee, “tribe member”, what-not.

In the corporate world, this type of leadership gives people room to grow and be themselves. The possibilities are endless because the company’s energy, in terms of teamwork, is also endlessly motivated and passionate about what they do. Peter Drucker was one of the pioneers of the idea that companies need to partner with people. It allows the organization to grow broader and wider. When everyone is free to excel to their own potential, the company grows stronger than it could of the “bureaucratic way” of “do THIS and do it THIS way”. Opportunity is wasted when the system comes between the worker and the company. Although, opportunity’s harvested when the company’s open.

Experienced coders have a better idea on how to tackle problems and avoid mistakes that beginners often make. Programming is something that has to be practiced a lot. No amount of theory will ensure that the code works the first time it’s executed. Also, no amount of book reading can compensate for lack of experience. More time experimenting and less time reading will make a better coder, though both are important in moving ahead in learning the art. By art I mean programming:D

Here are a few tips on how to improve your programming skills:

Learn by doing.

Cowboy Killer rip

Experimenting with your own code helps you learn the syntax and the language you’re working with. Lots of expert programmers learned how to code out of curiosity. “I wonder what this does *BANG* … Oops!”:D

Learn by Teaching. Two for the Money video

A great way to enhance your understanding is to teach others. Teaching gives you insight on both angles. The person you’re teaching might also ask some questions and challenge your knowledge, creating another opportunity for you to learn something new or to see something in a new way. Two heads are better than one.

Use the Right Tools. The Invention of Lying dvdrip Battle for the Planet of the Apes

Using the right tools will give you a massive boost. Using tools that you can rely on, and enables you to get the job done right, are the only ones you should use. There are a lot fo great text editors and IDEs out there. Real developers need something more than a plain text editor. Get the tools that work for you. There’s a lot of free ones to choose from. The open source community, with is mainly made of developers, provides tons of great tools for you to use for your development needs, and free of charge. You may need to spend a bit of time experimenting with different tools and finding out what works best for you, but the time investment is well worth it.

You should have a syntax highlighting text editor, command-line knowledge, a version control system, a test server(if you’re a web developer), knowledge on how to use a compiler etc. In the end knowing how to use these tools effectively is most important. Tools don’t work by themselves.:D

And again, Learn by LOTS of Experience(Doing).

Duplex release

You simply cant surpass hours of hair-pulling by reading a text book. That hair-pulling and cursing is inevitable I’m afraid. And it’s just apart of learning.:D Some say that you need 5,000 hours to become excellent, others say you should have at least 10,000 hours of concentrated practicing. Of course the figure changes per person depending on where his or her previous related interests were, etc. However it’s certain that for YOU to become a great programmer or coder, you need LOTS and LOTS of practice.

Practice by working on projects of your own, practice coding stuff in your free time, if you’re a full time computer engineer you might get lots of practice already. The important thing is that you get the experience. And that said, make sure you have a desire to improve and make sure you actually do improve. If you’re going to be a mediocre coder you don’t need a lot of experience. If you want to excel at what you do then monitor yourself. Make sure you learn something new, and improve in some way within a certain time period. Remember, there’s a 1000% difference between a great programmer and a mediocre programmer. One makes toast, butters it and accidentally drops it in garbage, the other does magic! Haha:)

Take a BREAK!

lawrence of arabia divx movie online
You Can’t Stop the Murders release

Alive or Dead trailer Blood Trails trailer Miracle at St. Anna move

The Sting movie download
Pride and Glory film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang hd

Long hours of practice and exhaustion has a toll on your brain. It impairs your ability to learn and makes your practice less effective. You find you get a lot less done. Avoiding sharpening your saw because you don’t have time will cause you to waste more time in the long run. Being a programmer you somethings get rushed and become a slave to the urgent tasks. You end up neglecting your health and other things and end up living a very unbalanced lifestyle. Taking a vacation away from work is important and your brain cant function at it’s full capacity otherwise.

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” – Thomas Edison

Island psp
Most of you who read this blog or know me, know that I’m a hard-core coder and spend a lot of time coding my own sites and building sites for clients. I started coding when I was just young. I’m glad I did, it’s helped me meet some great people and let me find my talents. Not to mention make a few dollars on the side.

Being a coder for your own business can be very beneficial. You’ll always be one of the most motivated developers in your projects and you can always pass the skill on to another person.

Everyone needs a coder now days!

Almost every business needs a web site . Ten years ago people didn’t understand what “web design” was. Now days even people without Internet have heard about. I’ll often get comments like “oh yeah, my brother does that” or “my aunt and uncle have a web design company”. Companies are doing business through their websites, creating a constant need for updates and implementation of advanced features. The demand gives web developers and free-lance coders jobs. These are one of the opportunities of knowing how to code.

If you don’t have the money to hire a coder or a designer, teach yourself.

Coders are somewhat expensive. And to find a good developer that will get the job done well and on time, is often very tough. You may need more than just one or two coders for a project. But you’ll always have the ability to get in there and things done instead of hunting for programmers.

There’s a 1000% difference between a good coder and an Excellent coder.

Do you have the patience to become one?

It’s hard to rate a coder on a scale from one to ten. Good coders know how to get things working, they often know how to get the job done and get paid. However “good” coders also sometimes leave the project unpolished and leave important details untouched. An excellent coder will always get the job done just as expected or better. They understand what the work entails and what the consequences are if the work isn’t done on time. They have a Win/Win or no deal attitude. They take care of problems before they occur, ones that a good coder may let persist for weeks.

An excellent coder is your project’s hero, and worth his or her weight in gold. Never compromise to save a buck. I can rest easy knowing I have a awesome programmer who puts real pride in what he does.

Perfect Creature ipod

Wonder Woman dvdrip

The Grapes of Wrath

Why even get into it? Die Hard 2 movie full The X-Files: I Want to Believe release

There’s a lot of good reasons to get into web development, there are also a lot of different roles to play as a developer. But there’re also reasons not to even bother. Learning a programming language and all the little things that come with it is a tough learning curve. You need to be prepared to spend a lot of time. You need to love doing it.

If you’re considering getting into coding(whether in your job, business or for a startup) these are the questions you should ask yourself:

Middle of Nowhere full

Do I have the time? Are my talents needed more elsewhere?

Am I REALLY interested? Is it my thing?

Is it really a worthwhile investment? How will it help me long term?

Would it be less painful to get pay a professional to do it? Don’t take on the whole load if you already have a demanding role. When a Stranger Calls film

Ultraviolet hd

Lonely Are the Brave dvdrip

Consider these questions before you get into web development and find out you’re not really as driven as you thought.

Are you your own coder? How Abilene Town has your skill proved to be beneficial to your job, business etc? Please Comment

Two Mules for Sister Sara full

by Charlie Cook The Baker . I didn’t actually read the book. However this article by Steve Pavlina, 15 Second Marketing
Gone in Sixty Seconds video

gave me some new insight on how we market ourselves and our businesses to other people. Lots of people have heard of the Elevator pitch, a quick way to spread the word about your company to another person within the few seconds spent in an elevator(or rounded to 15 seconds). The concept can be applied anywhere to create interest and start conversations with potential clients and customers. In this article Steve mainly talked about how people are too focused on titles.

Anyone can slap on a label. But labels aren’t too effective when it comes to making money or business growth. It’s what you actually do that’s important.

For example if you say, “Hi I’m Bob, I’m an Entrepreneur” it completely drains the conversation. So what if you’re an entreprenuer? But lets say you changed it around abit and said, “Hi I’m Bob, I work with mid size companies to find new ways to market to people.” This makes much more sense and it will help spread the word and maybe even increase the amount of referrals you have to your company. This should also help with word-of-mouth. For example if Bob uses the first technique, people are going to continue to pass the word along that he’s an “Entrepreneur”. That’s certainly not going to generate a whole lot fo interest. However if people pass around the word that “Bob finds marketing strategies for mid-size companies” there’s bound to be someone who owns a mid size company that this word finally gets around to. Maybe even a few. The little seed you plant through the 15 second introduction can make a big difference.

How you tell people what you do can be a Growth Factor for your business!

The Invisible Circus dvdrip

Last night I relized that I was going about this all wrong. I do a few things. I develop web sites and web applications for clients. I develop my own applications both on and off the web. I write a blog. I’m interested in technology. I look for new ideas on how to improve technology and make it work for my business! If you ask me what I am, I’m a Entreprenuer and tech developer. If you ask me what I do, I develop computer technology for people to use in their every day lives(see my bio above). The second one is much more interesting and actually gets across what I do. For the first time I had to think between what I do and what I am.

The problem was, I was showing the tip of the iceberg instead of describing the rest…
Boogeymen: The Killer Compilation movie full

If you haven’t done this already. Stop. Think to your self for a second. Are you going by some label you’ve stuck yourself with or are you going by what you do? Labels are still important. If you’re a CEO, you’ve earned that title. If you have a masters degree, you’ve also earned a title. However lots of “CEOs” don’t know more than a few things about running a company. And lots of people with collage education are book smart and experience dumb.

Listen to your actions and your words. Do they benefit your company or do they bore people to teers. Chances are that your company can capture interest of almost any audience, but with the right words. If you want to learn more about this you can read Steve Pavlina’s post 15 Second Marketing

Their primary source of business that is, new customers and clients, mainly comes from word of mouth. Home Movie movie download accepted dvdrip download Why is word of mouth effective? Well basically because people are more likely to buy or pay for something that a friend recommends, instead of a product or service that a cheap advertisement or stranger tries to push.

Now days word travels 10 times faster than it used to. What with technology it’s not too hard to spread word about something you love…or hate. By leaving an unforgettable impression on clients, customers or who ever else comes in contact with your company you open up new opportunities. Not just to that person, but to whoever comes in contact with them also. In fact it’s easier to get negative word of mouth than positive. That’s because people like to complain a lot…

To demonstrate:

Pride and Glory rip

Bad Boys II download

Black Angel dvd

White Christmas film

Think of a company you hate(for whatever reason). NOW, how many people have you complained to about this company or brand? How much it sucks, how crappy it is, the bad service…sound familiar? Chances are you even got creative and came up with some wild exaggeration on how bad the product was or how horrible the service is… This company may have suffered as a cause. Hell, they probably deserve it…but you see what I mean. Word of mouth travels!

The point I’m getting at is: a company that gets people saying good things about them will always have a backup, in the good times and the bad. And companies with transparency will be rewarded with the most loyalty. “Satisfied Customers Tell Three Friends, Angry Customers Tell 3000

In these times failure is inevitable. But we all have to understand that we’re going through a period of change. Times aren’t going to be as easy as they used to be. Partly because we aren’t going to be used to it at first, the way business is revolutionizing. Once it was about big machines, hard hats and cranes. Now days it’s about information and ideas more than anything. Of course that started changing in the early 90’s. But whether we like it or not, we have to admit, we’re getting deeper into it. Day by day!

2009 brings in a whole new atmosphere. Mixed with fear, doubt and optimism all at the same time. It’s time to sink or swim! Atlantis: The Lost Empire move

It’s time to toughen up, not give up! Hellboy II: The Golden Army movie download Bad Boys II trailer mad max online Stardust video

Bell Book and Candle trailer

Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning dvd It’s time to show what we’re really made of! We have to push forward instead of fall back. Sure times ahead will be tough, but “tough times call for tough people”
It’ll be a time to learn from failure and adapt to new changes. All of us have to make these changes as we continue on into ‘09(and the upcoming years as well).

My advice is keep learning, sharing information and applying what you learn!

jump out boys aka lords of the street divx

Don’t worry so much about what the future brings to you, but rather what you bring to it. Failures are blessings in disguise so make sure you learn from them every chance you get. And believe it or not new opportunities open up in the hard times also. I think we’re going to learn a lot this year! So let’s stick with it!

Five Easy Pieces ipod

I hope everyone had a great New Years. ‘09 is finally here and we can start living up to those resolutions we made. Hopefully the “I’ll never drink again” one wasn’t one you decided to make after waking up on New years day..:D Anyways it’s going to be a great year and I have a tone of plans.

NOW Back on topic!

In the world of social media, it’s easy to see a person as just another profile. All you have to do is add them or wait for a reply…YAY 1 up. AND the more friends you have the more important you look, right? And the more “thx 4 da add” comments you have the better you feel, sorta…

The truth is, if you haven’t been using social media to build relationships(or keep in touch) you might be wasting your time. Blade II release

Land of the Blind video

   Then She Found Me film

Cellular trailer
The Curse rip

Kate & Leopold release

Social media is changing. ‘09 is about going back to the basics. Yeah 2,000 friends on your band page might look impressive but they’re all going to become useless unless you start making an effort.

Building relationships is important, especially in times like these, and it’s something that cheap friendship can’t really give.

The Killing Fields divx

You can easily become numbed Road House

download is harry on the boat movie

by Social Media. It’s not like there’s a REAL person at the other end of the rope. It’s not like these people really are interested in YOU…

Does their cheap form of friendship show through? What do their actions say? Even more important, what do your actions say?

We’re all like starving kids from a 3rd world country, waiting for a piece of bread. And the person who reaches out is the one we show our loyalty to.
In a sense we’re starving(in the social media world) for some type of personality. For any signs that there’s a human behind that avatar.

People aren’t hard to get along with. It’s kind of like magic(well more like common sense). Show that you’re a human, and people will appreciate it. buy Little Nicky

The Brood move

They’ll be like, “Wow, this person is actually making a personal effort! In my part.” Now days that makes all the difference.

So lets start being a little more careful who we call our friends.

This last part involves a little effort(ouch). It’s also extremely simple: The people who you can call a friend should be in your friends list. People who you don’t know, or just see you as a one up, shouldn’t be in your friends list. These people don’t care about you and haven’t taken the time to either.

Make a effort toward the person. Don’t make hasty judgments. Accept a person for being different. Take the initiative before deciding to remove them from your friends, or follows, etc.

I hope this of some help.

OR

You can use Twitter as a valuable marketing tool, by telling the world what you’re doing for them.
Blue Collar rip

—
Who really cares?

Creature Comforts movie full

Tristan + Isolde film

I Am David movies

Let’s face it. You’re not adding any value to anyone’s time, or yours, by turning Twitter into your personal activity tracking system. Who cares if you’re baking brownies, or going to get gas, or that you have gas?

I think they’re called personal statuses, right? Warlock rip

Sheep Dog divx

Facebook is the king of personal statuses. Why should we go further and make it a full time activity?

—

So why use Twitter?
Twitter is a great mini-blogging/mini-updates tool for personal and or business branding. It’s a feed that’s being checked constantly(because it’s being updating constantly).

This immediate interaction provides great opportunities for marketing to your audience.

Thus, it doesn’t waste time(if you use it right)

—

So let’s stop using Twitter like a bunch of morons.
Use it to benefit you, or don’t use it @ all.

NOTE: Then She Found Me dvd

Shattered Glass movie

Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement dvd
